POST-SYMPOSIUM TOUR

The post-symposium tour will begin on Thursday afternoon, 22 September after lunch. Highlights of the tour include:

Thursday
• Tour Greenheart Nursery - will see liner production and a new pot rose program
• Dinner in Avila Beach, California (included in the tour registration)
• Overnight in King City, California (included in the tour registration)

Friday
• Overview stop to see California Agriculture
• Tour of a Cut Rose Nursery in Watsonville, California
• Tour of a rose Breeding Company in Watsonville, California
• Lunch (included in the tour registration)
• Tour of Filoli Gardens near San Francisco - a large estate garden with a garden devoted to roses (entry fee included in the tour registration)
• Free time and dinner on your own in San Francisco
• Overnight in Davis, California

Saturday
• Tour of the University of California at Davis campus with an emphasis on rose research programs.
• Lunch (included in the tour registration)

The tour will end on Saturday afternoon so that participants can begin their journey home. Shuttle service (not included) can be arranged to Sacramento or San Francisco. You can also choose to stay in Davis and begin your journey home on Sunday.
